ABOUT DAHUNT FOR THE CURE
DaHunt for the Cure was founded by Charles and Diane Medici in 2008, with its mission to support various local charities. The idea was an immediate success! People were drawn to the combination of the great outdoors, a little friendly competition, camaraderie with fellow business professionals, and help the needs of children and there families.
The inspiration for DaHunt for the Cure was born from the personal way blood cancer has touched my life since my nephew, Peter, was diagnosed with leukemia. We personally invite you to participate in this event, in Peter’s honor and in support of all those that are still fighting today! Peter is now an extremely healthy college graduate in his early 20s and is working for the family business as a project manager.
DaHunt for the Cure joined the Community Foundation of Orange & Sullivan Donor Advised Fund in 2017. This will allow us to continue the support of these very important causes, for years to come. Each year we will choose a different one of our favorite charities to be highlighted for that year.

Lunch, Raffle, and Awards Ceremony
DESCRIPTION
We will begin by gathering at the range from 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM breakfast and registration; followed by a safety briefing and instructions for those who need them. Participants will go to their respective squads and shoot 100 rounds, which will be scored. Upon completion, we will assemble at the lodge for lunch, dessert, coffee, wine & cheese, cigars, live auction and awards ceremony.
DIRECTIONS
From Westchester: Take 684 North to the end where you will pick up Rt. 22 North. Take Rt. 22 North heading towards Pawling. At the Light on 22 (McGraths Restaurant will be on your left) go straight and continue another 9.5 miles on Rt. 22. Look for the Old Drovers Inn sign (on your right) and take the next right hand turn East Duncan Hill Road, continue until stop sign. Take a left onto old route 22. At your next “Y” go right onto Limekiln Road and across the bridge, continuing .4 of a mile- take a right onto Berkshire Road and continue .6 of a mile making a right at the “Y” (Ten Mile River Preserve sign). Continue .6 of a mile from the “Y” and the lodge will be on your right. 266 Berkshire Road.
DRESS CODE
While the dress code is casual, T-shirts and shorts are NOT allowed. Dress with layers that can be easily removed or added, as you may feel hot or cold. Golf carts will be provided to transport participants from station to station, however, the roads are unpaved, and so you should wear comfortable shoes with a rubber sole.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Please dress appropriately and be prepared to play under most weather conditions. We will shoot rain or shine, so while a small poncho will be provided, you may wish to bring rain gear.
GEAR & SAFETY INFORMATION
Each participant will be provided with all necessary ammunition, a pair of sunglasses and earplugs. While participants are welcome to bring their own shotgun, it MUST be a break type of gun, side by side (SxS) or over and under (O/U). Absolutely NO Semi-Automatic guns allowed!
